The Cassette is the reason OGC exists. It is the brain child of a visionary that never learned how to leave well enough alone. What started as a simple, ill fitting unlevel edge prototype rapidly evolved into the Cassette as it presents today. Featuring four different crimp options, each adjustable to three angles, five pinch widths as well as a complete wrist and forearm solution, the Cassette truly is the Swiss army knife of portable grip training devices.
Cassette Companions
OGC is founded on the idea of innovating and advancing the sport of climbing. The core philosophy is to listen and respond to the wants and needs of climbers and to bring visions into reality. The Cassette Companions are a direct result of feedback from beta testers of the Cassette that wanted to use the tool for pull-ups and lock-offs. That spawned the Deff Grip, an attachment that provides a rounded, more comfortable, edge to hold on to while also holding the ropes straight, increasing the stability of the tool in the hand. The Sole Saver was inspired by a remark that if you wanted to just use the rope and loop it under foot to pull against it would cut into the sole, and so we have produced a platform that the rope slots into and distributes the load across the sole, significantly improving comfort and providing the ultimate minimalist training solution.
